These terms cover your use of shellreps ("we", "us"). By using this site, you agree to them.

What shellreps is

shellreps is a browser-based practice environment for PowerShell syntax. It runs a small custom terminal emulator, styled after PowerShell, entirely in your browser. It is a learning tool, not an official Microsoft product, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.

Purchases and access

A one-time purchase through Gumroad unlocks every gated room on the site via a license key. The purchase itself is handled by Gumroad under its own terms; see gumroad.com/terms. Your license key is personal to your purchase; please don't share it or post it publicly.

No warranty

shellreps is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. It's a side project and a teaching tool, run accordingly.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, shellreps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, shellreps. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at abusive volume, or use it to distribute malware or unlawful content. Everything you type into the practice terminal stays in your browser; nothing you do inside it affects any real system.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may add, change, or remove rooms and features over time, and may update these terms as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.
